The Hampton Township School District (HTSD) in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, serves residents of Hampton Township, offering public education through three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school, known for strong community ties and a focus on critical thinking, empathy, and collaboration, with its mascot being the Talbot. 1862 marked the first time a Hampton public school was recorded with the Pennsylvania State Office. At that time, the enrollment was 106 students distributed among four buildings and four teachers. Since then, the District’s student population increased more than 3,000% and graduated more than 10,000 students. Today’s students are distributed among Central, Poff, and Wyland Elementary Schools, Hampton Middle School, and Hampton High School.
